From threat detection to cloud resilience and zero trust, the showfloor in Hall 5 of Brussels Expo will display the range of what cybersecurity is and should be today. The major vendors will be in Brussels. They are sure to bring their next-generation cybersecurity solutions to showcase.
Cybersec Europe is above all a networking event, where hundreds of cybersecurity leaders can meet on the showfloor. There is a reason why this year’s exhibition theme is stronger together.
The Main stage will bring you the cream of the crop of keynote speakers, over two days from 11am to 3.30pm. The opening keynote on Wednesday will be delivered by Max Schrems, renowned privacy expert and lawyer. On Thursday, Mario Beccia, NATO’s Deputy Chief Information Officer for Cybersecurity, kicks off the main stage.
Other speakers on day 1 include Anouk Van Brug (Member of the European Parliament), Christiaan Beek (Rapid7) and Stefaan Hendrickx (NTT). The day will conclude with a CISO panel. Day 2 speakers include Despina Spanou (European Commission), Jeremy Rollison (Microsoft), Selma Turki (EY) and ethical hacker Inti De Ceukelaire with a closing show on day 2: Magic Hacks.
For the first time, Cybersec Europe is dedicating a theatre exclusively to technical IT and security professionals, for two days. They will be able to follow technical tracks from renowned IT and security experts. Topics such as incident response, application security and threat intelligence will be covered.
Among the speakers scheduled for the Tech stage are Jan-Pieter D’Anvers of Cosic/KU Leuven (with a presentation on homomorphic encryption) and Jeremy Schmidt (on location tracking & Signalling System 7).
Inspiring sessions and talks, often from suppliers sharing their narratives, are held in several other theatres around the show.
On day 2 of Cybersec Europe, the Computable & Cybersec Awards will be presented. This will take place on the Main stage from 3:45pm. There will also be a number of side events including a NATO Theatre and an Innovation Route.
