Cybersec returns to Brussels with more exhibitors, speakers and innovations
Much like cyber-attackers are better organized, we need more cooperation in cybersecurity too. With this in mind, Cybersec Europe has been a fixed appointment in many professionals’ agendas for several years. It is the central expo where innovative technologies and cybersecurity visions come together. In 2024, Cybersec Europe will once again return to Brussels. And this year, there is even more to be excited about.
In fact, the two-day expo moves to Palace 5, the biggest venue of Brussels Expo. While Cybersec Europe welcomed some 8,000 IT professionals in 2023, this year there will be room for as many as 9,000 visitors. The expo’s familiar format remains: the leading tech companies come to Brussels to present their latest solutions. With over 300 exhibitors, their number will also exceed that of previous editions.
Inspiring speakers
In addition to innovative technologies, Cybersec Europe also offers a stage for inspiring expertise. This makes the expo a unique platform for professionals from around the world to exchange ideas and discover the latest trends. In cybersecurity, having a strong network is extremely valuable. Therefore, the expo is the ideal place to connect with experts, researchers and inspiring leaders. In one or two days, you will establish a network you can use throughout the year to ask questions or explore ideas.
Furthermore, visitors can also attend interesting keynotes by surprising speakers from Belgium and abroad. To this end, numerous experts with diverse backgrounds will make their appearance. A small selection of some great names on the program of Cybersec 2024: Marijke Verhavert (TommorowLab), Miguel De Bruycker (head of Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium), Anastasiya Tretyak (EY Belgium), and Ivana Butorac (Sopra Steria). Mick den Dijker, Exhibition Director of Cybersec: “Cybercrime knows no borders. If something happens in the US today, it can immediately break out in Europe too. Cybersecurity is a global challenge that we must face together. This is precisely why an international expo like Cybersec Europe is invaluable for professionals. Especially now we are dealing with risks around AI and an unprecedented flow of data, it is important to keep each other informed. With a bigger venue and many more experts, we want to give visitors the tools to build a better security strategy and protect the core of their business in the most optimal way.”
