How secure is your organization in the age of quantum computing?

Quantum computing – and the unprecedented computing power associated with it – is about to revolutionize the ICT world. What does this mean for the future of cybersecurity? During Cybersec Netherlands 2024 at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, the Netherlands, cryptography expert Soenil Soebedar will give a keynote on the impact of quantum computing on ict security.

Quantum computers are intelligent, powerful computers that process information via quantum parallel processing, solving problems that current supercomputers cannot match. But quantum computing also poses new risks to cybersecurity. It could break the encryption of encryption we use today. During his keynote, cryptography expert Soebedar introduces the basics of quantum computing and its relevance to cybersecurity. He covers the topic of post-quantum cryptography and shares how the cryptography of the future can withstand quantum systems.

The expert also explains where the danger lies in deploying quantum computers and offers tools for companies and governments to prepare for their arrival. He also provides an analysis of emerging cyber threats from quantum computing within defense and the security sector.
